Out of the mouths of senior citizens...
Visited grandpa in the resthome today...

There was a man there with alzhiemer's next to us where we were eating lunch in the dining room. He asked several times who we were and all.

But as we were leaving again, my mom mentioned again that I was her daughter and he leaned over to her in what seemed to be all seriousness and said in a grave voice:

"Well, you can't win them all. I'm sure you did the best you could."

*LOL* Am I that unappealing?

Did the same thing. Dinner at the senior home. One woman kept introducing me around as my husband's mother.
